The Original cover art for this album was the Flames Cover. Just a few days after it's
release was the tragic plane crash which took the lives of lead singer, and founder,
Ronnie Van Zant, Guitarist Steve Gaines, Background Vocalist Cassie Gaines,
and Assistant to the band Dean Kilpatrick. Even though the plane did not catch fire,
MCA decided that the cover was not appropriate and recalled it. They then
reissued it using the photo from the back cover as the new front cover.
